The UHY Hacker Young Group is a top 20 national accountancy organisation.
Every year the firm selects only a small number of trainees (c25 - 30 nationwide) and so each trainee is given responsibility from day one and has the chance to experience a wide diversity of work.
We look for bright graduates with the ability and determination to succeed as qualified accountants. As a trainee with our firm you will be expected to support our strategy for growth and respond to our clients’ changing needs. We realise that you may not feel you match all of these criteria yet, but part of our job is to make sure you develop and achieve your potential.
At the same time, you should also recognise that the exams are tough, and we therefore look for past high levels of academic achievement. Minimum academic requirements are:
•Sound English and Mathematics (GCSE or equivalent grade B in each);
•The attainment of good ‘A’ level grades, 280 UCAS points as a minimum (or equivalent);
•The expectation of a good degree, a 2.1 is strongly preferred.
We would be happy to answer any questions you may have, please feel free to contact us via our website or you can apply online: www.uhy-graduate.com
