Interview and Assessment Process

The interview and assessment process at Tenon is as follows:

• Online application
• Online numerical and verbal reasoning tests
• First interview day
• Second interview day

Online tests

Both aptitude tests last 20 minutes and consist of 20 questions.

For the numerical test questions involve percentages, graphs and tables.

The verbal test consists of a number of short business related passages. You have to decide if these passages are either true, false or if it is impossible to say.

First interview day

Your first interview day will be split into two interviews, each with a different manager. Questions asked in each interview may be similar. Previous candidates have been asked:

• What other firms have you applied to?
• Why Accountancy?
• What are your interests outside your degree?
• Where do you see yourself in five years time?
• What is your background?
• What work experience have you found most rewarding?
• What do you think you need to be a successful accountant?
• Why did you choose 'A Level's' and degree modules?
• Why did you get your grades?
