LECG

LECG is an economics and finance consultancy. Our team includes chartered accountants, economists and various industry specialists.

We help our clients solve complex, unstructured problems across a range of practice areas including:
  • Economic Regulation
  • Valuation
  • Competition
  • Finance and Damages
We work in a wide variety of areas but here are a few examples of questions we have tackled:
  • How should a clothing brand be valued?
  • What is the best business model to remunerate recording artists for song downloads?
  • Are airline mergers good for consumers?
  • Is it possible to introduce competition into an industry such as the water industry?

We are looking for graduates and post-graduates who are highly numerate and analytical and who wish to apply their problem solving skills to real world economic, financial and business issues. A background in economics is not required, though you should have or expect a first or upper second class honours degree in a subject with a strong quantitative or logical focus.

We provide our new joiners with:
  • A highly competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package and a discretionary bonus
  • The unique opportunity to train for the ACA in a consulting environment or support for the CFA or further relevant academic qualifications
  • The support of our comprehensive in house learning and development programme
  • The chance to work in a variety of practice areas and industries with recognised thought leaders and experts in their fields
  • Interesting and challenging projects that will develop their technical and professional capabilities
