Buyers evaluate and resource products offered by wholesalers and manufacturers and for retailers to sell in shops. Buyers must negotiate prices with suppliers, and ensure sufficient quality of all products. Some buyers will also look after brand marketing.
There are several stages to a career as a buyer. Some companies will give them different names and any of them could have the word "Trainee" or "Senior" added to the beginning of the title to indicate a relatively new or experienced person
