BDO Stoy Hayward hire approximately 220 graduates for the following positions each year:

• Business Assurance
• General Business Tax
• Forensic Services
• Forensic Computing
• Business Restructuring
• Management Consulting
• Risk Assurance Services - Technology Risk.

Application Requirements

A good 2.1 honours degree (or equivalent) is required by BDO Stoy Hayward for all graduate schemes. All degree disciplines are considered, except for Forensic Computing; candidates must have a computer-related degree.

Training

Most graduates at BDO Stoy Hayward study for the ACA qualfication. Graduate trainees can also follow the CTA Tax Training programme, to learn how to be a tax adviser. In addition to the CTA qualification, you can also obtain an accounting qualification (awarded by the ICAEW) and the Professional Skills Certificate (awarded by City University).

These programmes run for a period of approximately three years. Their aim is for you to learn and develop the knowledge, understanding, skills and attributes that are essential for passing the exams, and also necessary to develop a successful career in accounting or tax at BDO Stoy Hayward.
