Barclays Capital’s sales team provides coverage on rates, credit, foreign exchange, commodities (both precious metals and energy), and equity derivatives. The sales team build relationships clients, keeping them updated on international markets and new products. Clients vary and may include banks, asset managers, pension funds, hedge funds, central banks and insurance companies.
Salespeople are responsible for delivering the services of the firm to clients. They need to be good communicators and good at relationship builders. To work at BarCap they must also be highly numerate and have developed analytical skills.9 February 2012 - 8:22pm
