So what is outsourcing?

Mazars provides support to a range of business in accounting, company secretarial, human resources and payroll. For example, we might simply prepare annual statutory accounts or a more comprehensive fully bespoke payroll or taxation solution.

Professional Training and support
If you opt for one of our school leaver level vacancies you will be fully supported through your AAT examinations. AAT stands for the Association of Accounting Technicians.  The AAT qualification gives you a great grounding in practical accounting knowledge and skills.
Successful completion of your AAT will also enable you to ‘fast track’ on to a Chartered Accountancy qualification. This makes the AAT / ACA route a very competitive alternative for talented A level students who are considering whether or not to go to university. You could be fully ACA qualified in 4 years.
To find out more about the AAT qualification, go to http://www.aat.org.uk.

We also have some opportunities for graduates to join the Outsourcing team and you would study for your ACCA qualification. ACCA stands for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. The ACCA is the global body for professional accountants and will equip you with the technical knowledge and skills required to work as a finance professional within any business. For more information on the ACCA, go to www.acca.co.uk.

However, with Mazars, your professional qualification is only part of the story. We support all our trainees with our own internal training programme (we call it ‘Skills for Business’), not just to the point you qualify, but beyond and into management. Mazars Skills for Business supports you to develop a breadth of skills: technical, client handling, business development and leadership skills. We believe that investing in our people is fundamental to the success of our business in the long term.

Academic Requirements
We look for candidates who can demonstrate a strong academic track record. Depending on whether you are a school leaver or graduate applicant, you’ll need, or be on track to achieve at least 280 UCAS points and you will have achieved, or be on course to achieve, at least a 2.1 in your degree, although the subject of your degree is not important. We also look for Grade B or above in GCSE English Language and Maths.
If you do not meet all of these academic requirements you can still apply. We look at every single application form before we make a decision, not just the academics. However, if you have not met our academic requirements please explain why on your application form.

Application Timetable
We do not have a closing date for this vacancy, so you can apply all year round. However, to avoid missing the boat we would advise that you apply  as early as you can.

Further details about all our programmes can be found on our careers website.
