FDM Academy is a division of FDM Group, responsible for launching the IT careers of graduates worldwide, for over 20 years. The Academy’s award-winning programme consists of approximately 8-16 weeks of skills development in either Java or .Net Development, Test Analysis, Infrastructure, Application Support or Project Analysis. Training you in the latest industry-recognised practices and cutting-edge technologies, we will provide you with both the technical and business skills you will need to succeed in the IT industry.

This skills development is followed by 2 years employment, where you will work as an FDM IT Consultant with our clients, companies such as HSBC, BSkyB, UBS, Virgin Media, Deutsche Bank, Lloyds Pharmacy, Barclays, Fujitsu, BNP Paribas and many more. With a minimum 2 years employment as an IT professional working with some of the world’s largest organisations, FDM is the ideal path into a successful IT career!

Criteria

• IT, numerical science, business and finance degree types preferred

• You must be able to commit to the full 2.5 year programme

• You must be flexible to work across the UK

• You must have a passion for IT and the desire to work in the industry

• Excellent communication skills, drive and team working abilities

• Many of our clients are in the investment banking industry so an interest in finance is beneficial, but not essential
