FactSet’s Consultants are the essential connection between our clients and our software business.
 
We invest a great deal in our employees training and development, after an initial 5 week class room based training period, you will be given immediate responsibility, working directly on exciting and challenging projects and delivering business solutions for our clients in either our Investment Management or Investment Banking teams. 
 
Consultants will be offering support in a variety of ways, including: 
Visiting clients in their offices to provide on-site consultation and training
Managing a group of accounts assigned to you, ensuring that the relationship is healthy and that clients are getting the most out of the system.
Answering day to day client queries and providing creative solutions through our helpdesk
Working on large scale projects that optimise our clients’ workflows
Training clients at their desks or in groups
 
Starting at FactSet as a Consultant allows you to get a broad understanding of our business and Consultants are expected to progress into Consulting Management, Sales or Product Specialist roles as they develop their careers with FactSet.
 

Entry Requirements

We recruit Consultants from all disciplines but applicants must have a genuine interest in the Finance sector as well as the desire to continually learn and develop in an ever-changing environment. In addition we require:
At least a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree (in any subject)
280 UCAS points
Strong numeric, analytical & problem solving skills
Exceptional communication skills
Experience in a client/customer facing role, or a desire to excel in this area
A strong knowledge of PC applications, in particular Microsoft Excel
Fluent English, with other European languages a bonus
A commercial attitude
As well as Business students, we are particularly keen to hear from people studying courses which are both Numerate and Analytical such as Maths, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Business Computing and Economics.
