The internships typically last for ten weeks and are among the most in-depth programs in the financial services industry. The programs offer intellectual challenges, real business experience and meaningful insight into the different areas of the business. Interns receive world class classroom training, mentoring  and on-the-job experience, and above all, will develop a skill set that will set them apart. 

 

A five day scheme that aims to introduce you to the investment banking industry and give you a realistic understanding of what our world is like.  You will join us in our London office, either in the Investment Banking Division (including Fixed Income and Equities) or our support functions (which include Investment Banking Operations, IT and Finance).  While you’ll focus primarily on the area you select, you’ll also get exposure to other businesses. You will take part in a range of soft skill workshops and business information sessions, as well as social and networking events. Our spring and summer programs are a significant source for our internship and full-time hiring.

 

For most of our programs, you’ll need a bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent. For most programs, your degree can be in any discipline, although some may require a relevant degree or major. We look for people with a wide range of experiences, interests and degrees who will add fresh perspectives to our business. We’re looking at your vision, talent, enthusiasm, and above all, your long-term potential.  

 

These are available in the Investment Banking Department, Fixed Income, Equities, Asset Management, Information Technology, Investment Banking Operations and Finance.
