Hey, I have applied for this position but I am waiting for them to tell me something. I have no idea about the salary range for this position. The test is not too hard and its of their own. And the interviewer had no about the salary range, location for the position etc as they are third party company.

Does anyone has this information, if the position will be Globe house based or Slough? An what sort of salary range is expected from BAT?

Also, how many position are available for MTO?

THe numerical and logic tests are 'fairly' easy. I had the telephone interview back in february and heard about 4 weeks later that i had passed and the recruitment agency is recommending me to BAT for the assessment center at the end of April.

I had read some where previously (on the BAT site) that the salary was around 40,000 euros a year.

I was told that the only dates for AC are 24th and 25th May. Not sure if they will be having AC sessions in April too...

Regarding salary, I would highly appreciate if you could share the link from BAT website. BTW, I am wondering why the salary is not in GBP?

there is another thread discussing this same topic. Another user in that thread has been recommended for the assessment center in April. In the email I received, the rec. agency does say there will be multiples ACs in april, may, june.

I am assuming that the Finance traineeship AC is in April then, the others at another time.

I cannot find the link any more, the BAT site has been changed. The salary is not in GBP because not everyone here is applying in the UK - at least i'm not ;).

I'm in the same boat with you Bombolulu, except that I'm applying for the IT track and they told me that the AC is at the end of June. Wondering anyone knows more about AC?

I guess you applied for marketing as well right? I was told that the Marketing AC is supposed to be 10/11/12 May in London. Do you have any news so far? And anyone reading this who applied for marketing... any assessment center invitations or rejections?

I applied for Operations and haven't heard back as yet. They told me that the AC would be in 24/25th May.... Don't remember about the location but that would be fully paid for travelling and accommodation.

Hey Guys, I haven't heard from them yet as well. One question do you know when is the programme supposed to start? Graduate positions are usually in September but when beginning or middle? Thanks!

Hey did anyone get another call from BAT today for a follow up interview? About the AC, I asked and they said it would include a presentation, a role play exercise, a group exercise and something else (I've forgotten). The interviewer also said that if you do make it through to the AC you will get informed ahead of the AC date about the tasks you'll be given at the AC.

No catch up call but this information was given to me on the fist interview. And I think what you are forgetting is "interview". Generally this is very typical AC style apart from very few such as Honda manufacturing...

Hey nfs63, I applied to operations as well, and didn't got the catch up call, maybe because I was out of the country in the last couple of days. Have you heard of anyone who applied to operations and got the catch up call? I applied for Leaf operations, but I don't have a agronomy background so I'm kinda worried cause I really feel I would be suited for this position. What did you apply to? Do you have any more info? Do you think we'll get a catch up call as well? I'm hoping to hear from them soon as well, nevertheless as our AC is only in the end of May they might leave our invitations for last... Cheers

I don't know if we are going to receive a catch up call. I was told that we'll be notified in couple if days if we have been selected for AC or not. I have not heard from them since the interview. "Plan" is my first choice, though I am confident and suitable for all three based on my education and past experience. Let's wait and see.... Btw, where r u from?

no, unfortunately...I had a interview in a long time back, Jan/Feb... still no news so far, neither invitations nor rejections.

Update my side: I received confirmation that I would not be invited for the upcoming AC last week.

And which programme did you apply?

Any update from anyone? anyone got invited for any AC or had any contact from BAT or the recruitment company? or if you've been to any AC, which one was that? and please do provide any further details etc if you do not mind.

We will contact you by the phone, please specify the number we should dial." But they didn't tell me how to confirm. Do you have any idea about this.. please help me.

I had the interview two weeks ago. The lady was very nice, asked questions that you can finde here in the forum. Some additional ones:

What was your favourite marketing campaign in the past? How could you improve that? What is your favorite product? What do you think about the marketin of that product? Which principle of marketing is the most important for you? Why?

The other questions were about examples of your life... (Tell me a time when....) you can find them here in earlier comments. It lasted for about 45 min, prepare for asking questions at the end! She told me thet they will get back to me (and every participant) around the 2nd of April.

Heyyy I had my phone interview a week or 2 ago, for finance too but haven't heard back. I had a lady interviewer, extremely well spoken and perfect English, extremely professional. I was asked what salary I'm looking for, but that was it, no idea why they ask graduates that question though...

I have a AC in may, can anyone help in letting me know what is involved? What kind of tasks? and what i need to do to prepare

Marketing, but I've been told the AC follows the same structure for all function with only a few changes according to the area

@Rgoo: When did you have your telephone interview? How did they contact you?

It's really annoying, I applied for marketing, they told me the AC is 4th of May, but I still havent heard from them, and when I emailed them, they told me that they "will get back to me in the end of next week"! is anyone else in the same situation??
