Yeah I am hoping London as well...I guess we just have to keep our fingers crossed....they said it depends on business need mostly but I am guessing the largest offices London, Bristol, Edi should have the most 'business need'...

Btw, which uni do you go to? I am at the LSE doing a masters.

I've received an offer for the general management scheme, having had my AC on the 30th of November. Annoyingly don't think I'm going to be able to make the networking event as I'm going to be abroad. Would be good to get a FB group going - as I can't find one I'll go ahead and set one up, otherwise we could all be waiting for each other to do it! Have named it "Lloyds Banking Group Graduate Leadership Programme 2010" - hopefully that'll be findable.

Anyone know whether there are any places left on the Corporate Markets scheme? I've got the AC tomorrow but I read on here somewhere that they may have filled up already! Would be great to hear if anyone has any more information. Cheers

If you look on their website and check availability of programmes it shows that corporate markets applications for graduate places are closed. Hw, this basically means that they are no longer accepting any more new applications at this stage but they are going through the ones they already had. So i suppose if you have an AC tomorrow is because they might still be looking for a person or 2. Good luck!

Cheers, wasnt expecting a reply in time to such a last-minute question ;) I understand it's been closed to apps for months, but that goes for most grad schemes really. I think someone on here mentioned they wanted 2 more people as of November lol....which doesn't bode well for this morning. But what the hell, lunch is free isn't it ;)

hi, I got a phone call tonight at 7pm telling me to attend an interview at the branch at 5pm the next day, I only filled in an application form on the net....help I have done no prep at all as I didn't expect a call.

Iv been offered a place on the Lloyds General Mgnt Leadership Scheme. They are posting a conditional contract out to me at the moment but I want to know if anyone has asked about deferred entry for 1yr?!?!
Has anyone asked lloyds about this/done this?!? I'm trying to understand if they would be happy to let me take the year out to travel or if they would be disapointed they offered me a place only for me to ask for a year off!! Any advice pleaseee

Sherman could you let me know how you get on with this please. I can't offer you any advice, as am about 2 weeks behind you in the process, and haven't attended the AC yet, so don't even expect to get anything. However, if i did i would be interested in asking the same question. I'm not bothered if it is an issue, would far rather have a job, but it is certainly something i would be interested in hearing about.

I was recently at a careers fair for LBG and I found out from a talent manager that they don't do any deferred entries.

I've applied to the General Management Program aswell but yet stil have to book an assessment centre date. At the AC what kind of test do they conduct?, is the competency interview similar to the telephone interview? Any advice on how to prepare for the case study and group exercise? i have no experience! :- |

I'm in the same situation yeah, been trying to book an AC it since 9th and still no luck. Had the same problem when trying to book a phone interview though and was just told to keep trying after contacting them. x
