Barclays Verbal Test

Hey,
I’ve just completed the verbal psychometric test for Barclay’s retail and received a message saying my app is under consideration. Does this mean I failed the test?? As when I completed the numerical test I received an instant massage telling me I had advanced to the next stage.

yeah. if they say your application is under consideration after the verbal test, it means you passed it. they just wait to process it, for the interview dates. if you had failed, they would let you know straight away.
mine was under consideration for a good amount of time. 2 weeks or so, before i was told i had passed.

How did you find numerical test? I failed it. Feel so bad because it seemed ok:( Although I think I screwed up exchange rate questions.

I passed UBS, Credit Suisse, DB, BNP, Barcap numerical test.
In my opinion, Barcap was the hardest. However, this might be a bit biased by the fact it's the first one I took.

Hey guys,
Found the numerical test tough but the verbal was much harder (for me anyway) and i failed it. I guess when they say they are concidering your application in some cases it means you flopped.
Feeling really down,
such is life!

Just completed Numerical test for Barclays, It just says Application under consideration no invite for verbal test or no mention of a fail. Im assuming no news is bad news. Id appreciate does anyone know where I stand

Hey it doesn't look good, when i completed the numerical I got an automatic message telling me to complete the verbal ( which I didn't pass).
Never know though perhaps you passed.

Yeah id have to agree. However apparently if you fail they tell you right away. I only done it about 2 hours ago But Id have to doubt that i passed at this stage.

Did you just do the Numerical? If so it mite be a technical error, I hope. It was Barclays wealth I did.

I just did the barclays numerical test and i got a email 5 mins later saying congratulations you had reached our required standard, and i got an invite to take the verbal test....i am guessing depending on ur score they out u through straight away or consider you before sending an invite for the verbal. I wouldnt worry too much though, cos aparently if you fail they let you know right away.Anyway, does any1 know if the verbal test is any harder than the usual ones?...

the verbal test is a whole lot harder than the normal ones - 15 minutes for 30 questions!!

Hey I completed the numerical reasoning test two weeks ago... straight after it said my application was under consideration with no mention of the verbal reasoning test... i am very nervous as it has been like that for over 2 weeks now..... does this mean I passed? I would like to remain optimistic but I am very unsure! what was your outcome after you waited???
