We've got a practice verbal reasoning and numerical reasoning test for you to try. It's good practice for the real thing.
Hi Running Man,
Anthony Collins is quite a small niche firm so I think you'll struggle to find specific information about their interview process online. Also, as they only hire six trainees each year it's unlikely their interview process will be as strict or regimented as other major legal recruiters.
I can tell you that HR interviews are generally straight forward and that you should prepare for: competency questions (see Competency based questions | WikiJob and Competency based interview | WikiJob) and questions about your application/CV, education and reasons for deciding to pursue law in your education and as a career. It's less likely that you'll get questions about why you've chosen Anthony Collins, what you like about this firm specifically and what you know about the firms specialisms... although you should prepare for these questions in case they do come up.
I know this firm is supposed to be pretty fast-growing - I expect they'll be looking to recruit bright, ethusiastic and entrepreneurial people. Try to be confident in your interview and stand up for yourself if you get difficult questions where you need to justify something.
The firm is the largest social housing, charities and community regeneration operation outside London. Think about this, and why this appeals to you as a candidate in case you get asked about it.
Good luck and please do let us know how things go. Any information you can provide about this firm will also be of great use!
