Legal Services Act 2007 impact of floating

I was wondering what impact the Legal Services Act 2007 which allows for law firms to float on the UK market will have on an international law firm. If an international law firm’s UK practice decided to float would it have to adopt a business structure so that it was separate from its other international practices? Could the UK office still undertake work for international clients but carried out in the UK? Would its UK lawyers be barred from undertaking cross border work?
