Does anybody know if you can get training contracts for family law and where? Also what would be the average starting salary (outside of london) Thanks!
Average starting salary differs quite a lot from firm to firm. Also, outside London, it will differ from city to city and place to place - e.g. working in the city centre of Manchester you will earn more than in a suburb.
Top firms in London pay trainees £30k - £40k + bonuses, etc.
Top firms outside London pay £20k - £30kish + bonuses, etc.
You can get training contracts at firms that specialise in family law - certainly - but I'm not sure who these firms would be I'm afraid!
