Law Degree Benefitial?

Is a law degree specialising in business or some other commercial field a good way to get into accountancy and how will such a background be viewed by prospective employers?
I'd like to hear from anyone who has made these career choices or someone with knowledge of how the law profession is used or viewed by professional accounting firms.

Unsure I did my degree in accounting, but as far as I'm aware, most firms are more worried about the grades you get in your degree rather than what your degree is in.
