I have applied to BT technical and haven't heard anything back since then.From the above responses it seems, I am not the only one.And also some people have started to hear back from them so yeah Fingers crossed.

I think you should ring them for an update. atleast that shows you are enthusiastic about the role. Did they give you any time frame within which they'd get back to you?

I had my tel interview last week and got an email today inviting me to their AC in Birmingham this coming Tuesday (20th)...I applied for the Business (Corporate Sales) stream...gotta prepare a bloody presentation too!!

@happyendings: Had my interview on 5th July and heard back about the AC yesterday for 20th. Bear in mind they have different AC dates for different roles (i think), mine is corporate sales...yours?? Lemme know if someone has one on my day.

@skyrocker999: It's a one on one 10 min pre-prepared presentation on BT's future over next 5 years...that's all it says!!! lol

I had mine on the 6th of July! Maybe I should find out soon? I shall call them nevertheless. The role I applied for is business improvement :)

this is ridiculous! i applied over 2 weeks ago and still no reply, despite interview process beginning... I phoned them today and they said we have recieved your application but a decision has not been made yet and we'll get back to you!

I actually got other offers over the weekend so withdrew my application day before and didn't go to the AC! So that's one more space for you guys...all the best and good luck!

I was told over the phone when I called BT last week that they haven't yet started to progress with the applications for the technical route.

It is terrible to know why they cannot handle things concurrently despite having such a big name and resouce. It shows it is not the best place to work for. Planning/management is poor.

It's almost 50 days and application is still in review stage!

@re_wind------ the telephonic interview is an easy one they will ask questions about creating something new, challenges you faced in doing something and how you have overcome those and why you want to join BT.

Hi everyone! Has anyone had a telephone interview with BT already? Have you heard from them yet? I'm quite confused cause I had mine at the beginning of December and then I got an email saying that I passed, but since then nothing happened and it's been like that for over a month now. Is anyone in the same situation?

I've applied for the Management programme but heard nothing either, its just says "application reviewed" :(

Same here I called them up and enquired about my application, and they also said the same thing "Your application is under review" I also asked them for a tentative date for application outcome, but no luck even on that one So I guess we will have to ""Wait and watch", people

I guess we will have to wait bit longer, since this is what I received by email on 04/02/2011

"Thank you for submitting your application for a Group Communications role within our Marketing & media Graduate Programme and for your interest in a career in BT.

We’re sorry for not getting back to you sooner, we’ve received a lot of interest in this role and this has caused a delay in considering your application. However, we’ve now closed for applications and will be in touch with an update on the outcome of your application as soon as possible".

This means, it might take another month or so from the date of this email from BT Therefore applicants who make it till the last round, will have their AC during/ around April
