Accenture graduate program 2010
Hi All,
I am waiting on my final round interview (Technical and HR) from Accenture for Graduate position. I gave my interview almost 1.5 months back, still haven't heard anything from Accenture. When i call Accenture HR, i am informed that they are still in process of interviewing other candidates, so the results are not yet finalised. Is there any body who attended interview after March 2010 for software engineer Graduate program and have/haven't got the results ? if you have got the results, with in how many days after your interview the results was announced ?
Thatz great congrats.... Have you been notified via email or phone ? Where did you attended your interview and have you been informed about your job location ??
I had a phone call from a very helpful lady.
IV in London and as the roles are project based, I understood that you don't get to find out where the first role is until you join.
Have you tried calling the 0500 number?
Start Date
I had my interview in the 1st week of June and offered a place in the March 2011 Batch. Does anyone of you have a earlier start date?
Thanks
I had an interview yesterday and have been offered May 2011 but we will probably be put in for a batch before that !
Congrats

Guys...I NEED SERIOUS ADVICE AS TO WHICH OFFER TO CHOOSE (ACN or Deloitte) AS SOME/MOST OF U MIGHT HAVE SOME IDEAS AND ANY INFORMATION IS PRECIOUS FOR THE BEST DECISION...
Thing is...Accenture is known to milk its employees for money n over charge clients...very high attrition rates that's why they gotta pay more to attract new grads...they make consultants travel mon-thu consistently living in hotels n no life in small crappy towns.
Deloitte charges higher n never bids low cos they are consistent n respected...these days after MBBB (mc kinsey, bain, booz, BCG) it's Deloitte in consulting (independent dept)...plus its got independent offices/firms structure unlike Accenture which is a publicly traded company with internal politics. N I hear many Deloitte consultants go straight to McKinsey/BCG etc.
Deloitte seems to have a better culture n ethic n work-life balance (lesser travel). Its Operations Consulting in Deloitte (4 sub groups within...supply chain, finance function, operations/project excellence...work with other groups too).

General entry in Accenture (Analyst consulting group) with exposure to management and technology consulting sectors. On paper that gives wider exposure and a chance to specialise later after seeing all sectors but u could be just pigeon holed in technology and lick butt to get good projects esp me being an engineer dealing with their crap HR.
Deloitte offers a qualification (CIMA)...ACN doesn't...but Deloitte training in crappy Scotland (promotion in 21 months latest) n Accenture takes u to train in Chicago n 10K bonus in first two years with corporate Amex card (promotion latest 24-36 months)!!
Oh n the fact tht in Deloitte, a senior partner of the company called to offer...where as in ACN it's a generic email from HR!! says something right haha.
HELP!!! Thanks.

Hi shantha
where did you attend your interview i mean which place. If it is in london is it in old bailey?
Hi Shantha,
When did you had your 2nd interview (HR + Technical) and when did you hear from them again?
I had my 2nd interview on 13/7 and haven't hear from them yet. I'm wondering should I contact them.
Hi,
I have an upcoming first-round interview with the analyst consulting group, any help with what sort of questions are going to be asked would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Just got an email from accenture about what sort of questions they will be asking and it looks tough. There is also a case study, was that also in your interview?
@ BYR
It's very easy mate if you keep your cool and engage the interviewer to express your personality. The "case" is a 200-300 word paragraph where you're just required to highlight the issues from the text (straightforward) and make your suggestions for the possible solutions (common sense).
Rest is competency based so just prepare examples. Also, read about and learn a couple of Accenture's work examples with their clients from their main site as one questions ask you if you know about their recent work with clients. That's all!!
Hi jenny,
If you still have'nt heard from accenture my advice to you is its better if you contact them since its more than 10 working days...it took nearly 8 working days for me to know the outcome
Hi,
Thanks...I did contact Accenture but the graduate team said they will send an email to the recruitment team and asked me to wait. :(
Although I hope to get this, but I think the chances are pretty low.
Anyway, did you apply for Graduate Software Engineer or the Java Engineer? When is your starting date?
Hi Jenny,
I applied for the graduate software engineer position. My start date is on the 2 march.
which one did you apply for?
I have contacted the graduate recruitment team regarding my start date. If there is any possibility for an earlier start date. I am also waiting for their reply.
Regarding your interview was there any question that you found it to be difficult to answer. one of my friend could not answer the main interview question and was rejected. So I guess if you are confident about your interview part there is'nt much to worry about. Anyway for your case lets keep our fingers crossed...good luck...
Hi Shantha,
I applied for software engineer too but I did mentioned that I would like to go into Java engineering as well. So during the interview, the HR lady said there are earlier start dates for java engineer positions.
As for my interview, I don't remember any question(s) that I didn't answer.....
What was it that your friend couldn't answer? When was your friend's interview? How long did Accenture took to reply your friend? By phone or email?
Thanks!
Hi jenny
my friend's interview was in may...my friend contacted accenture on the 9th working day and they said they have nt yet decided...that evening he received a mail that he has been selected...

Hello All,
I am going into a second round interview soon for the Analyst Consulting Group in London. Does anyone have any advice or feeback? It looks like a four hour session, some case studies, meeting others in the team etc...
Has anyone been through this, and can shed some light?
Thank you

Hi Binny
It look roughly three weeks for me to hear following my interview in the last week of May.
I start in September but sounds like they have August start dates too!
Just now waiting for some paperwork - am keen to get some more detailed info etc...
Hope you get to hear soon
