From what I know, GS final round is 3 interviews, each 2 on 1. You should expect it to be technical. btw, how many days did they take after the first round, before inviting you to the final round? I had my 1st round 2 weeks back, have not heard back from them!

Some say it is 5 one on one. Some say 3 on 3 Some say techincal, but not very tough.

Does anyone knows if there are verbal or numerical tests?

hi i had a first round operations summer analyst interview on the 18th the next day i got an e-mail inviting me to final round interview which i had on the 27th now im just playing the waiting game does anyone know how long it takes to hear back and im willing to answer any questions good luck everyone.

Well, I had my first round on the 18th and heard back the next day. This is for Operations.

However, just a heads up to all those waiting. Last year, it took them over 27-30 days to invite me to the final round so you shouldn't worry too much.

So, since you guys (eric cartman and funkenw) had final round inteviews could you please share the experience..? How was it? Was it much different from first round interviews? How long were u interviewed? Was it rather technical or not?

I would be very grateful...

well i can only tell you about my experiemce with operations cause i know they are all slightly different to be honest mine wasnt that different from my first round just a bit more focused on why GS and why Ops that kind of thing my first one ws just about me and things ive done those questions were the only real differences then some examples of teamwork and leadership that kind of thing x hope that helps good luck o and i had 3 2 on 1 interviews in the same day one after the other

No details, just that I have a final round which would be conducted in week commencing 14th Feb. Other details would be mailed next week it said.

I know a guy who has done GS IBD final round b4, it was 3 '2 on 1' interviews.

I've applied for Securities summer analyst position and I had the 1st round in London. As far as I know, there have been plenty of people around me (including me...) who have been invited to second round, also for Securities. I got invite for 2nd round the next day after 1st round, but my 1st round was late anyway and most waited for around 2 weeks. It may take longer to process non-UK applications so don't worry you'll be fine! Seems they'll be doing 1st round until end of this month.

How do you know that they will be doing 1st round interview for Securities until the end of this month? When is your second round interview?

I am not 100% sure because that's what I heard from others... I scheduled 2nd round for the end of this month. There were very few dates left so wasn't really flexible.

Hi I am in final round for IMD summer internship but I still haven't heard anything. They said they were going to let me know in February for the Final Round. Is there anyone of you guys in the same situation?

Don't worry, everything is fine. But if u send them an email to have an update they ll reply and ll let u know.

I was in the same situation and that's what I did. After 12 days I was waiting..

I'm having first round in 2 days in finance-controllers division. Do you mind sharing your first round experience? It will really be great if u can give suggestions on: is it 1-to-1? i was told it is competency-based, but were there technical questions at all? what kind of questions were asked u can remember? are the competencies they are looking for what they put on the website? what else did they asked apart from what's on the website? are you on finance- controllers as well? any other advices u can give on first round interview? anything at all will be much appreciated!!

Had my interview for the securities summer internship almost two weeks ago and still no news does it means that I didn't get the offer ?? The HR never pick up the phone I don't know what to think....

I had my Final Round interview on the 8th February for Legal and Compliance. The Final Round interview consist of: 1st Interview: 2:1 Similar to first round mainly competence based, however now they want more details on particular experiences. 2nd Interview: 1:1 mainly competence based, testing leadership and determination. 3rd Interview: 2:1Once again competence based questions.

To be honest they don't expect you to know everything about the world of finance but they want to see hunger and determination.

I haven't heard back from GS yet, so could anyone give me some information on how long it took them to get an offer or even a rejection?

Any help will be hugely appreciated.
