I just had mine today. Got asked

Why lloyds? Why the finance programme? Importance of finance for Lloyds as a whole? Current issues facing Lloyds and the whole of the banking industry? Customer facing role is included in the scheme - how did that influence your decision to apply? How you would benefit from this? Relocation required for the scheme- how did that influence your decision to apply?

Only got asked one competency question A time when you have lead a group to achieve their best.

Anyone attended the assessment centre? Is it just logical reasoning test (symbols/graphs) and definitley no numerical or verbal?

Got an AC next week, not for Finance though. Anyone else going & staying over the night before?

Mine was meant to be London - now rearranged for Solihull on thursday sept 22nd.

What about you - where and when is your a/c? for what scheme?

General management, in London, would have preferred Solihull but London was the only one available when I booked it. Glad I get the cost of the train tickets reimbursed :)

is your a/c for 22nd? I booked mine for london on 22nd, but they made me switch to solihull. They told me that due to "unforseen circumstances", it was no longer in london.

I think they overbooked london a/c. so unfair. Going to take me 5.5 hours to get to solihull - only 2 hours to london!

May I know the process Involved as I have applied for Business Technology graduate programme recently on 13th September Online... Do we get any mail or do they call us for telephone interview straight ? any guidance would be really helpful

I completed the Numerical reasoning test and got sent the link for the logical reasoning test straight after, however having completed it I have heard nothing back yet. Is this because I failed the test? How soon after did you guys hear back after yous passed the test? Immediately?

Have you completed the online tests? You will get invited to do the online tests before you get invited to the telephone interview stage.

I have not been invited to do the Online tests yet ... How long will it take normally to get an email from Lloyds as its been 4 Working days that I had applied to this business technology programme

I got the invitation to online tests 4 days after my online application. Changed my assessment day on thursday to solihull too so will be staying in the hotel the night before. Good luck to everyone

i only had to do one numerical test online, applied to the finance grad scheme. found out about telephone interview 2 days after doing the tests. yes will let you know how the ac goes x

I have applied for the business Technology scheme. Although this may sound silly, does anyone know when this role starts? Is it September 2012 or is there scope for an earlier start.

@ others. After the online applcation I was sent an email within 2 hours that i was successful and was asked to do online numeracy test. I then recieved an email after 3 working days to book a telephone interview. I hope this help others who have asked.

Had a call on Wednesday and they made me an offer for General Management. Anyone else got it? If so have you had an email to follow up the call? Celebrations are on hold until I have something more tangible...

Sorry I have a few questions: What date was your assessment centre? when did you hear back? Was it a call from HR or from a partner/director?

Do you think they let successful candiates know the day after a/c - and unsuccessful candidates a couple of days later?

I've not heard back.

I can understand your concern if youve not received the confirmation email, but youve had the call! Lloyds dont seem to have the best HR people. So congrats again!

Got the call the following day. AC was on tues. I think everyone got the call on the same day, from the person who managed the AC.

I wouldnt read anything into the fact youve not been contacted yet, maybe your AC manager was doing another the next day.

there were about 10, all for the same scheme.

I have a telephone interview tomorrow morning and although I am feel I am pretty well prepared, my overall knowledge of the banking system is fairly weak so i thought I'd throw some question out there to see if anyone can help (I'm this will benefit other too)

What are the current issues facing Banks - especifically Lloyds?

What sets Lloyds apart from its competitors?

Also does anyone have any inside info about the Business Technology Graduate role?

I have got a telephone interview for Lloyds Finance Programme next week,

If you read the report from the independent comission on banking and discuss ringfencing retail banking away from investment banking, however more important to lloyds is that the ICB are forcing lloyds to sell something like 600 branches too competitors because it currently has too much of the market share.

Another topic although not sure if you should discuss it is that lloyds announced a rediculous amount of job losses a couple of weeks ago not sure on the exact figure however I think it was around 40,000.

For the question what sets lloyds apart from its competitors you just need to chat shit, talk about how there culture and environment is one that you would be proud to work in, the development it offers to graduates is excellent helping to excel your career and fit to your career aspirations.

what sort of structure was the assessment centre, did you only do a verbal test? or did they make you do a numerical as well?

got accepted onto the general management scheme few days ago, received a conformation email saying i would be sent my pack for references, credit check etc in a few days!

there was no test tbh they said they've changed the formula of the ac now but the email they send out is old. I didnt get any questions from the partner, the info changes for each ac just make sure you do your research on banking and the current issues/threats etc.

Anyone been to a Lloyds AC day and care to share their experience in depth? I and I am sure others would be very grateful.

I am aware that it is a competency based interview, role play and group exercise but does anyone know any more specifics?

I had confirmation of receipt of my application on the 12th of september and since had no confirmation other than my online status being

not received mine yet either had the confirmation email for 2 weeks now. emailed them and they said that there had been a delay in sending the packs out, they should be getting to us early next week hopefully!! which scheme have you been accepted onto?

yeah i've had my confirmation email for 2 weeks now, so was getting a little bit worried. When did you email them? And did they say we should be getting them this coming week or the week after? I applied to the GM scheme. What about yourself?

Emailed them late last week and they said should be here by early this week! Yeah I got on the gm scheme too, be nice to sign something and make it concrete!
