I had one of these about a year ago (resulting in rather vague memory of it! Especially as I was rejected after the tel interview), had a look through my notes but couldn't find any of my Abbey prep notes...

In addition to the standard competency-based questions (which are covered really well in the links above), there were also questions around "Why Abbey?", "What made you choose Abbey over other high street banks?" (Tricky one that), "What is your greatest achievement?". If I remember right they also asked how Abbey was different from other banks.
I personally would be preparing to answer any questions on the credit crunch/recession and its impact on Abbey. (Remember that Santander, owner of Abbey, had come out of the crisis looking very good, having made prudent decisions).
