I have an assessment day this week. please if you can help me regarding it.

Hello guys, I'm looking for help. Is there any one attended Honda Technical Interview, please tell me what type interview is this and what questions would i expect from them.

Hi Nipun23...i did attended assessment in Honda, there are 2 sessions. One will be the test in 4 parts in different tasks and 2nd will be the interview with HR.

Nipun, its a very easy test for Honda and i guess the interview was easy as well. you dont have to worry about it. just be yourself.

I have an Assessmet day with Honda on the 29th of this month and also an HR interview after that. Can any one tell me a bit more about it if you have attended. Also do they take any aptitude tests befoe the interview and what do these tests comprise off.

I havent heard anything from Honda yet and its been over a month now since i recvd their emal that I have successfully passed the first round. I tried calling them as well and they told me most of the managers are out in Japan so thats the reason for delay. But this was like 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Anyone else tried calling them?

I sent a mail regarding the nxt stage, they said they will contact us as early as possible. so wass up dude is there any other companies recruting jus let me know.

@ king.... there will be a presentation first about Honda philosophy given by honda people.. then we had two tests, first was in excel and second was some currency converter ( tests depends which post ur applying for) then they would take you for a plant tour.. and finally the one to one Hr interview.... just be urself at the interview and listen what they say.. note down some points and look for information about honda...

i had my second interview last week, this wasnt like what i was expecting for. in the mail by HR they told me that there would be some excel and written test then presentation. but i didnt had any of those. it was just straight interview with senior Managers. please dont ask what they ask me for two and half hrs... (lol)... interview was quite good... and hoping for the next round of interview.. interview qs will be from ur CV.. they will focus on certain points and will go in depth... so do your homework before you attend the second call...

hey all..... hey Ashwini, hope ur 2nd interview was successful... did they not go wid the presentation format for 2nd interview? also if u could briefly tell me what kind of questions u faced.. ( jst the type)... must b very tiring if it lasted 2 and half hrs... unless u enjoyed it.....

Well after looking at all the posts, I think most of the people here don't want to share any information regarding there interview and on the other hand want other people to share there.

The first round is too easy.. The day starts with Honda Presentation and Philosophy, take some notes and points for Honda philosophy, how the management works at Honda and stuff like that. Then they will take you for Honda plant tour. they will show you the whole manufacturing cycle at Honda. After that a short break. After break, there is one test on computer, (excel formulas), its too easy. After that, there is a one to one Interview with HR which is easy as well. Not to worry about first round.

They asked very basic questions of why Honda and what do you like about Honda !
But be prepared to see strange things as I had two guys with me attending assessment who were in their 40s and one of them probably in 50s. Otherwise its very simple

I have been to honda 2 times... one for honda manufacturing UK and another 1 for honda engineering UK.. both are at swindon.. I think its better to share experiance for honda manufacturing...

i attended the assessment centre long back... you will be having a presentation about honda.. its history etc.. listen carefully.. they may ask questions from it.. also prepare questions like your career motivation, why honda, your interest sort of questions.. also for the test part i think they have asked about parts of sterling engine,.. we had a plant tour and it was too good to see the manufacturing process..

yeah..i remember they will show you a video.. watch it carefully... yes you can rewind or replay it... identify the hazards or mistakes in the video..

i think there was some questions like fault finding .. nothing deep technical... dey give some work procedures or somthing like that.. we need to identify what went wrong, priorotise the defects etc.. (i am not sure about this part.. sorry)..

for the interviews prepare well.. but dont fit prepared answers for questions.. as it can make you less confident...

and above all.. be very cool.. dont be afraid.. beive me its that way you can improve your perfomance...
