Dunnhumby Assessment Day - anyone expericed one?

Hello! Has you assessment day already happen? In case it didn't- best of luck and in case it did- would you mind telling me about your experience? I have applied myself and I'm really curious. :) Thanks a million and good luck!

I've just completed my online test - does anyone know if all telephone interviews are 'out of the blue', and what the timescales are? Good luck to anyone applying!

Hi Blueman,

It was far easier, given that I usually fail online tests! Do the practice one, it's only 12 questions, but you'll see what I mean!

Let me know how you get on and if you hear about a phone interview..

@alf88 - cheers mate! would you say it's easier than SHL tests? how quick are they at getting back to you?

@eddie14 - I'll do mine over the weekend (still need to do a bit of practice!!) and will let you know how i get on mate!

Blueman and Eddie - far easier than SHL, I really don't think it is anything to worry about! No news yet, but I'll let you know when I hear either way, and vice versa!

I have the assessment centre this week? Does anyone else? Im dreading it as its my first one and there is a maths test also.. any advice.

anyone been before? Im also worried as they told me there are SIX centres with around 8-12 people! So there could be potentially 72 people?!? surely they dont take on so many people.

I have my assessment centre tomorrow, are you in then too?

I'm going up to Ealing today, slightly worried but will just have try my best!

hey im also very worried and nervous. My assessment centre is thursday, they seem to be running quite a few if they have one on monday too?

Im in a hotel near ealing and will be going up tomorrow.

i had mine on tuesday. bit late sorry. all i will say is relax, they are very friendly people. definitely not as scary as you think!

I had mine on the 26th of January and I passed it but I am still waiting for an answer as to whether I am gonna get an iffer for Sep 2010...Apparently not all those that passed the assessment centre are going to get an offer...Some may start on January but nth is clear yet...I am waiting an anwer within the next days!!!Anyone on the same boat that has info from them????

i had mine back in feb, and passed it, but am still waiting. had an email this week asking me to confirm my address so that they could send out the offer by the end of this week, but they also said they would call before, and still waiting for that. where did you hear that not everyone who passed would be getting an offer?

I had mine on January 26th as well where they told us that not everybody who passed would be guaranteed a job. However, when they called me to say I had passed, the guy said that 'there is a position for you' but kinda skirted round the question of exact jobs. The impression I got (although I could be wrong) is that everyone who passes will get a job eventually but not necessarily starting in September.
Also, apparently now we arn't going to hear anything until at least Monday.

I am sorry guys I meant January...Thesouthpole I also received these emails that made me soooo happy cause I was given the impression I would have an offer but then when I called the guy I wasn't that excited any more...ahaha...Anyways, guys we can exchange contact details if u like so that we can keep in touch on what is going on!!!

dunnhumby telephone interview structure and questions anyone..

i just wanted to ask how you guys found the status of your application as everytime i log into the careers portal the 'status' page is static- theres not indication of status. Or did they email you if your through to the next stage?

you should get an acknowledgement.
but you'll definitely get a response from the grad team regarding the outcome..
I've never really used the portal..

Does anyone know about the dunhumby assessment day? Any information will be useful. i wonder what is the style and type i.e. is it an interview (face to face) or a written test etc.
