Programming Aptitude Technical Test

Hi!
Has anyone had any experience of a programming aptitude test which is language independent but tests core programming skills?
Has anyone done one? How was it?
Or does anyone know where I can find one online?

I recently purchased a set of non-verbal tests from the Psychometric Institute www.psychometricinstitute.co.uk .
The outcome was that I was successful in being offered both roles and I’m in the enviable position of being able to make a choice of the best role for my future.

I have to sit for same test! Could you please share your experiences about this test? Is it a short question or multiple choice/ test? What kind of questions they ask- do you remember any examples? What is the best way to prepare for this test?
