Has anyone applied to this? I've received an invite to complete the online financial reasoning test. Is this similar to a numerical reasoning test? I can't seem to find any financial reasoning practice tests. Any advice is appreciated.

Cheers,
M.

In the email sent by Mendas inviting me to give the test, they say it's a 35 minute test. I want to know how many questions I have to answer in that time. I'm giving it tomorrow so if someone can give me just that one piece of data it would great !!

Thanks and hope to hear back soon... :)

Hi appleorange,

How did yoour online test go?
Any feedbakc on sorts of questions / recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
There are too many questions here and not many people replying back.

Any help will be great.
Thanks,
Blackwheels

Hi blackwheels.. The test has 22 questions to answer in 35 mins. All charts and percentages. Look at the FSA Telephone interview link - that one has all the information on tests, interviews, ACs, everything! Good luck on your test!

Thanks appleorange,
Theat post is exhaustively informative.

Got most of my answers :)

Hi blackwheels and appleorange,

I too have been sent a msg to take this financial appraisal test. So is it the same as a numerical psychometric test? What would be examples of the type of questions they ask you?

Any idea of what I am facing would be appreciated.

Hi bluered.
What position have you applied for?
The test is not overly challenging, just tight on time. The questions are the usual percentage, ratio kinds. Just that you have a text paragraph in many data sets instead of simple graphs and tables. You will need to be very fast in your calculations.
Do some practise tests on efinancialcareers, search the net for some advanced numerical tests, just get some practise under your sleeve and you should be fine.
