OfflineAdvertising is notoriously hard to get in to (but then, what isn't?!) so any info you can get your hands on, from top industry people, should be treated like gold dust.
http://adgrads.blogspot.com/ is an exellent blog written by some superstar advertising types who want to help you get in to the industry.
Getting into advertising can be a heavy slog, but once you find your place, it's guaranteed to be 100% more fun than accountancy!
