Anyone else on here working/applied/applying currently?

Seems a interesting division, however does not get the same amount of spotlight like its more distinguished counterparts.

Is it essentially a offshoot of audit?

Yep- it's an audit specialism. I wouldn't worry too much about the division unless you have a particular interest.
