Job Description: 

We take great pride in our reputation for developing innovative products/solutions; however our employees are pivotal to our continued success. We are seeking an Account Manager (Water Treatment) for our site in Salem, Oregon.

Duties:
As Account Manager the selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining our current Paper Mill Utilities business and developing growth opportunities in addition to being responsible for determining what the customer's needs will be in the future and work toward meeting and exceeding them.

  • Safety - maintain a safe, injury-free environment through active team participation and promptly addressing any identified safety deficiencies.
    • Customer Satisfaction - provide service and technical support for customers.
    • Problem Solving - troubleshoot and solve Pulp and Paper problems for our customers.
    • Relationship - build strategic relationships with our customers.
    • Business Growth - work with the sales team to identify new business opportunities.
    • Personal Growth - improve yourself through on-the-job, classroom, and cyber training courses (technical, business, and personal growth) - (The specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to duties outlined above)

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of chemical sales experience or technical/production experience in the Pulp and Paper Industry (or a related industry) required, preferably with working knowledge of cooling towers, boilers and/or other utilities operations.
    • A commitment to work safely and provide excellent customer service.
    • A BS in Chemical Engineering, Pulp and Paper, Chemistry or similar scientific field.
    • The ability to work individually and with a team.
    • The candidate must possess excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Valid drivers license
    • To be employed, permanent residency status in the U.S. is required or otherwise authorized by the Attorney General.
    • Willingness to travel
