IBM CV template
Posted 8 December 2011 - 3:06pm by tercas.v
hey guys,
I am currently applying to business & tech consulting in IBM. In their CV template they have "Personal Statement" section. I tried to research online, and there seems to be two opinions on how to go about this. Was just wondering whats the best way to write it up.
-What should be the structure of such statement? (short introduction about yourself;list of skills that I possess OR same think + why particular company; OR any other way??)
-How long should it be? (some state 50-200 words, other 5-7 lines etc.)
Thanks for the help!

IBM Extreme Blue First Round Selection Day
Posted 20 November 2011 - 9:43pm by xkhx
Hi everyone,
I have applied to a technical role for IBM Extreme Blue and I am invited to the first round selection day in December.
I don't really know what to expect for the "Software Engineering Aptitude Test" they mention in the email. Since I do not study computer science or IT related subject, I am a little worried :S
If would be so helpful if there is anyone who has been through the 1st selection day and would be able to share the experience!

Hi Boys and Girls!
There is a bewildering array of things on here about IBM assessment days!
I’ll get to the point...
I have an assessment day on the 4th of August for the position of Technology Consultant; can anyone enlighten me as to the format of the day? What goes on there etc?
Another thing, I’ve got to travel down there from Manchester but I’ve been given a morning session, are there afternoon ones do you know?
Thanks for all/any replies!

IBM Technology Consultant - seeking info on this role
Posted 1 June 2011 - 9:51am by 01secn
Hi everyone, I've got a fairly good idea of the kinds of things that a technology consultant will be doing at IBM but I figure the more the better!
What would be really helpful is some specific examples - so I know that consultants go onto the client's site to find out what IT solution would be best for them, but I was wondering if anyone could give me a sense of what IT solutions they might provide or how you will be finding out what solution would be best? Do you interview the relevant personnel and carry out workshops to find out how improvements can be made for instance?
Thank you!
