Additionally, any feedback on previous experience of interviews at Rothschild or even peoples view on Rothschild m&a team.

Help re offers: Rothschild Paris vs. HSBC London (M&A)

Hey people, need help deciding on offers.
I received offers from Rothschild (Paris, Generalist M&A) and HSBC (London, STG ie M&A). Which would you go for?
Food for thought:
- League table/prestige: Rth ranks better than HSBC this year (Rth in top 10, HSBC in top 20). From what I could read around, Rth has better M&A brand name in Europe, although my former staffer from when I was an intern disagrees and says HSBC London is better than Rth Paris
- International/emerging markets: HSBC is more global, just in terms of sheer size, although league tables again rank Rth higher.

I am applying for a summer internship in M&A at Rothschild in London.
I was hoping to get some info on Rothschild's first and second round interviews. could anyone who has been through one or both of these give me some info about the process? Is these a numerical test or presentation and how technical are the interviews for M&A?

Hi! I was wondering if anyone has heard from Rothschild for the LT internship at all? I spoke to HR a few weeks ago, and they said that they would start calling people for interviews soon after Easter. But I havent heard anything! Have any of you got any idea whats happening?

Hi, I sent off an application for Rothschild's Long Term internship programme in early Dec, but haven't heard anything back as of yet?
Has anyone heard from them either way, or, even better, has anyone actually completed an internship with them? Would be great to know how other people are fairing up. Thanks!
Rothschild application - URGENT HELP NEEDED

Hi
I am currently filling out the Rothschild application form for investment banking and I think this is the hardest I have come across so far as there are lots of competency questions I am on my 5th question and I do not know how to answer it. So your help and any tips on how to go about answering it are wanted.
The question says "Describe a recent significant challenge you have had to face that called for initiative and creativity. What made the situation challenging, what obstacles did you have to overcome and what did you have to do to meet the challenge/solve the problem?"
